Team Canada

About Team Canada

Murderball was invented in Canada, so it’s no wonder that Team Canada has long been considered one of the best wheelchair rugby teams in the world: consistently finishing in the top 3. The team’s best finish came at the 2002 World Championships, where they bested the USA to take home the gold. This win was captured in the Academy Award-nominated documentary “Murderball.”
