Trevor played a crucial role in Canada’s gold medal victory over the USA at the Toronto 2015 Parapan American Games. Though he is a low-point player (class 1.0), many consider him to be the best wheelchair rugby player in the world. Audiences many not see him making big hits or scoring flashy goals, but his tactical and technical knowledge is second-to-none and he has the ability to “play big” at important moments. During the two USA games at the Toronto 2015 Parapan Am Games, for example, he created four crucial turnovers, all of which caused significant momentum swings in Canada’s favour.
