     Your team is invited to the 3rd Annual Vancouver Invitational
     Wheelchair Rugby Tournament.  Hosted by the BC Bandits and the
     British Columbia Wheelchair Sports Association
     Hotel Info:
     Hotel rooms must be booked by March 3rd, 2002.  The hotel rate is
     CDN$89 per night + taxes for a double double-bed standard room. room.
     Please tell them to remove the bathroom door if you normally do this.

     Entry Fee:
     The fee for this eight team open invitational tournament is US$400 or CDN$600
     for up to ten personnel.  Add US$35 or CDN$50 for every extra person.  All teams
     will play five games over three days.  Lunches, T-shirts, Welcome Packages,
     as well as transportation to and from the airport is included.

     Please make your cheque payable to the:
     British Columbia Wheelchair Sports Association.
     Notes:
     • All teams must check in by 2pm on Friday at the gymnasium to register.

     • In order to access transportation service, flights must arrive no later than
       10am Friday, and depart no earlier than 6pm Sunday.

     • Transportation will be provided from the airport to the hotel/gymnasium on Thursday,
        Friday, and Sunday ONLY!  No exceptions!  The hotel is easy wheeling to the
        gymnasium, a major shopping mall, and the transit system.

     • Please also show respect to our hosts and sponsors by remaining for the
        awards ceremonies on Sunday.

     Classifiers:
     • There will be an Officials Clinic led by International Referee and CWRC Technical
        Commissioner Gilles Brière beginning at 11am Friday morning at the host hotel,
        and continuing throughout the tournament (on site).  Anyone interested in attending
        the clinic should contact BC Wheelchair Sports (see above).

     • There will be Classifiers on hand during the tournament.  Any teams that have
        players needing to be classified, please contact Gail Hamamoto Dore at
        BC Wheelchair Sports.

     Sorry, no Toronto pickups.  Games could be starting by 3:30 pm on Friday and
     ending Sunday at 5:00pm, so book your flights bearing this information in mind.

     Meeting:
     The annual meeting of the provincial delegates and the Canadian Wheelchair
     Rugby Committee will be held on Friday night at the host hotel
     following the games.
     Schedule:
     The Nationals Schedule is now posted, and there will be 4 teams in the "A" pool  and three teams in the "B" pool.  Lunch will be provided on Saturday and Sunday,  with fruit and snacks on Friday night.
