Manitoba Wheelchair Sports to Host a Wheelchair Rugby Beginner’s Clinic

From September 28-29, Manitoba Wheelchair Sports will host a Wheelchair Rugby Clinic in Winnipeg. The clinic is open to all ages, genders, disabilities and experience levels. Even able-bodied individuals are welcome to attend.

The clinic is a great opportunity for beginners looking to develop the basics of wheelchair rugby, as well as for current athletes wanting to take their skills to the next level. Registration is $35 for MWSA members for the weekend and $45 for non-members. Lunch will be provided.

"This is a perfect example of the kind of programs we're looking to fund with Podium Club," said CWSA Development Director Duncan Campbell. "We commend MWSA for taking this big step to grow their program and introduce more athletes to the great sport of wheelchair rugby!"
